Journalists from the United States (US) Tagouri Noor appeared in Playboy "Renegades" in October.
As quoted by news.com.au, the 22-year-old girl said the goal is to be the bearer of news hijaber first US commercial television.
Tagouri is producer Newsy, American news video network that produces small parts of video news.
Tagouri believe the experience as a Muslim makes him a better reporter.
"Honestly, being a Muslim, it helped me gain confidence (on the subject of the interview)," said Tagouri in Playboy.
"I know the feeling how the narrative of our community is twisted and exploited in the media. I was like, 'Hey, I know it feels misunderstood in the media. I would not do that to you. I will mennceritakan story because important and entitled to be justice."
"I am the first to know when when people are empowered again, they become aware that their story is very strong, then they begin to share. It was very useful and can help brighten or help others."
Tagouri got a lot of hate and criticism online, but he "did not read or pay attention."
"That's just negative energy and unhealthy. I made sure to have a circle of great people around me who keep me humble," she said.
"At work or at home, people I consider very important in the hearts and concerns voiced their criticism, and instead I influence them."
"Besides, I do my best and not worrying people were upset because they did not like the clothes I wear or say."
About the decision to wear the hijab in television, Tagouri say it's not heavy.
"It strengthened me," said Tagouri. "Hijab help me do what I want to do," she said.
"I'm just wearing a scarf on the head, the news remains the same," she said.
